This highly anticipated rhythm game will be available on Steam and the Microsoft Store, offering players a chance to drum along to their favorite tunes in a fun and engaging way. To give players a taste of what’s to come, a demo is currently available on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam.

The game will be priced at $49.99 / £39.99 / €49.99 for the standard edition, which includes the „Namco Game Music Pack,“ and $79.99 / £65.99 / €79.99 for the Setlist Edition, which includes additional downloadable content such as the „Anime Songs Collection,“ „Pops Collection,“ and „Vocaloid Songs Collection.“ Digital pre-orders are already open for those eager to secure their copy.

In Japan, the PlayStation 5 version will also see a physical release, although it remains unclear if the same will be available in the west. Additionally, accessory manufacturer HORI will be releasing a dedicated controller for the game, with two SKUs catering to different platforms.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival first launched in September 2022 in Japan and worldwide, and this new release promises to be even more exciting. It will be the first game in the series to support 120 frames per second on consoles, offering a smoother and more immersive gameplay experience. Players can look forward to new collaboration music, mini-characters exclusive to the new platforms, and the „Run! Ninja Dojo“ mode, which was added to the Switch version via a post-launch update.

The game’s store pages provide an overview of what players can expect, including a variety of game modes and 76 songs across different genres such as Anime, VOCALOID, Game Music, and Pop. Players can drum along to popular tracks like „Gurenge,“ „MEGALOVANIA,“ and „Feel Special,“ either solo or with friends. The game also features online matches, party games for two to four players, and a Taiko Music Pass subscription for access to over 700 additional songs.

With its engaging gameplay, diverse song selection, and multiplayer options, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is shaping up to be a must-have title for rhythm game enthusiasts. Whether playing solo or with friends, players can look forward to hours of drumming fun when the game releases on November 7.
